Healthy Version of Nutella

  •  Hazelnuts: one of the most nutritious nuts, an excellent source of vitamin E, dietary fibre, iron, heart healthy B vitamins including folate and magnesium which helps to maintain healthy blood pressure. The pattern of amino acids present in hazels makes them a source of high quality protein, they’re a good source of calcium (second highest of all nuts after almonds), and contain a high concentration of oleic acid, the same type of heart-healthy “good” fat in olive oil which lowers levels of LDL (bad cholesterol) and raises HDL’s (good cholesterol). Hazelnuts may prevent cataracts, and they’re rich in phytochemicals, helping to protect brain health, improve circulation, and even relieve allergy symptoms.
